Machinations of the Dragon King is an expansion to Even Dragons are Trampled Before Us. While the original game is set up for GMless play, this expansion adds that option, letting one player take on the role of The Dragon King coordinating gameplay, narrating events as they happenand working to make things harder for the brave horses behind the scenes.
With this expansion, you are given a range of new dragons to add to Nests, each with their own unique powers. You can also tempt horses to the draconic side - putting them at odds with their former allies. Not to worry, however - there are ways to bring them permanently back to the light.
Machinations of the Dragon King is perfect for those who want to add a few more story elements to their game - or for those seeking an added challenge to the base game.
The expansion is especially suited for larger groups of players.
